Best Internet In Cm / Having It Installed In Condo Buildings

Featured Replies

Hi,

Planning on moving to CM next month for 7-9 month stay. I work online so having good internet is obviously very important to me

Obviously I want to have the best internet available in CM, I can search through that in the forums but if anybody has an extra input I'd appreciate it

Mostly what I want to know is -I want to move into one of the high rise condo buildings....Punna, Flora, Hillside or whatever... will these buildings allow me to install my own internet into whatever condo I rent?

I've emailed some real estate companies with these questions, but they've been slow to reply..I'd like to have answers for these questions before I get there

Thanks

It is really up to the specific condo building you choose...

But most allow most any vendor to wire inside the building using existing phone jack wiring to the units...

The choices in CM are

Are those 3 ISP's all through the phone lines?

All three ISP use a telephone style hookup toan ASDL Router - But again you must ask the specific condo building which is allowed to wire into their building...

If I want to have two services at once, does that mean I'll have to have a second phone line installed? Would that be easy to do?

That could be very easy or very difficult... Depends on the specific building...
