Moving To Phuket Next Month...

Featured Replies

Yes, it's actually happening the wife and I and little dog plus two cats will be moving down to Phuket at the end of October and I'm looking for recommendations on where to live but first I'll give you a rough idea of what we're looking for...

I'll be based in Phuket Town (City) for work purposes so really looking on the east coast from Chalong ( Rawai/Nai Harn look just a little too far) through to just a little farther north of Phuket Town.

It would have to be a house with a garden (no condo or townhouse) fully furnished or just about with at least two bedrooms.

Close to a little evening entertainment i.e. sports bar (for English football), Thai & western restaurants, Thai food market.

A long-term let of one year is what we'd be aiming at to start and we've a budget of around 20k per month.

I've searched online at about every website for Phuket but I need some more ideas of where I can look locally like names of Moo Baans in the area where there might be just signs on gates 'FOR RENT'.

Any ideas are welcome

Thanks

Just a few weeks ago the same sort of question was asked and this generated a long list of replies. Have you had a look at that topic -
