Mine in central BKK was working fine from when I was periodically using it from dinner time and onward into the evening... Didn't notice anything amiss.... Was in the CentralWorld area.... Oct. 6.

In Khlong Toei and Yannawa areas it was totally dead. Didn't even get a 3G icon on the device. Tried many devices and 3G routers. Nothing could get a connection but could make phone calls. All is back to normal now. Was out for about six hours or so.
