Where To Park Your Car?

Featured Replies

We're looking for a safe/dry place to park our car for the next few days. Fashion Island is full, or so we're told. Any other suggestions?

Sounds like you have left it a bit late. The airport carpark is also full already.

I was also told a couple of days ago that Fashion Island was full, but when I went shopping there yesterday there was plenty of space both inside and out. Probably worth checking for yourself. That said, the entrance to Fashion Island tends to flood when it's been raining heavily. Not sure how flood safe the open air carpark is.

There are many, but also many are full. A big one that may have space is Tesco Lotus near MBK.

Fortune Town is also another. There is a Tesco Lotus there also.

If you have Muang Thai Insurance on your car, they are providing free parking at BigC Ramkhamhaeng Rd

Here is a list.

The Metropolitan Police have prepared 109 parking spots for Bangkok residents, which will accommodate a total of 69,959 cars.

Parking spaces will be provided at Esplanade Mall (500), Fortune Mall (400), the Don Mueang Airport (3,000), Central Lat Phrao (3,000), BTS Mor Chit parking lot (2,000), Government Savings Bank headquarters (500), Kasetsart University (500), Maha Nakhon University (2,000), The Mall Bang Kapi (3,000), Paradise Park (600), Sports Authority of Thailand (1,500), Central Rama III (900), Big C Ekamai (1,000), Central World (3,000), Siam Paragon (3,000), Chulalongkorn University (1,000), Central Pinklao (2,000), Islam Wittaya School (300), Asia University (500), Kanchanapisek Ring Road (10,000) among others.

Free Parking At BigC Ramkhamhaeng Road

If you have Muang Thai Insurance you can park for Free.

They have 300 spaces reserved for their customers. Call them with your policy number first.

"Their paid long term parking is sold out"

"I added this so it is not easily over looked (lost in text on my previous post)"

Im in minburi and will drive my car to romklao soon. People have told me it should be ok there but who knows?

The water is getting higher all the time. Be safe.

Just came back from Fashion Island, the car park at the Robinson end is completely full. I never use the first car park at the Home Pro side, but, I'd venture to guess that it is full as well, there was a line of cars waiting to get in that car park.

fashion´s got at least one place free, because we´re leaving town today and getting the car out just now...
