I heard rumors that it might be difficult to find drinking water and food there?

Yes. We even have electricity and horsless carriages.

hmmm, someone who can answer my question seriously?

You mean your questions, "I heard rumors that it might be difficult to find drinking water and food there? " is serious?

What do you think all tourists and locals drink here, beer every day all day long? And yes, we're all starving, so please bring some Pad Thai with you.

Well, in Bangkok all shelves are close to empty of drinking water, and nudles and stuff, and i heard it is the same thing in Phuket, but maybe you do not have that problem, maybe it is just rumors.

So even though Bangkok is even more developed than Phuket, the shelves ARE empty, so my question is serious yes.

You're honesty asking if Phuket has food and water?

yes, because in Bangkok the shelves in the shops are empty

All shops or just ones flooded or cut off by floods?

No flooding or food/water shortages here. Some (including my gf) have reported a less than usual selection of fruits and veggies available at Tesco. A new front tire for my Ninja took a few extra days to deliver because of the floods. Not much affect in Phuket.

The water vendor machine you pictured are fairly common.

Its still water and food to get but the shopping centers are empty on some of the most common water used as Minere, Nestle, Singha, Aura, Mont Fleur, etc,. There also seems to be less in the shelves of dry food like noodles, cereals and canned food both in Central and Tesco.

No shortage of nudles here, especially Patong!
