Long Term House Rental/Bangtao Village

Featured Replies

Does anyone know of a great long term rental? We are looking for a furnished one bedroom with kitchen and internet, if possible, and allows a cat. We looked into the bangtao village and they have some nice looking little houses for a great price, would love to hear any feedback about this village. We are arriving in early december and would rent for up to 9 months and maybe even a year if the property was right.

Thanks for any help!

Whats your budget?

I like it there personally, not ideal if you like to drink beer and eat pork though.

Or being awoke at 5 am for prayer.:jap:

Yeah probably better to move slightly more towards the Surin side of Bangtao

budget is no more than 15,000 a month but preferably less like 6000-7000 would be ideal! if it is that bad though, with the 5 am prayers and all, maybe another area is better....we have never stayed in that area, so i'm not sure what to think....what we see via internet is mainly luxury rentals, and a few good ones for 15,000 and few really great low prices... we are willing to stay anywhere except east coast of the island and phuket town...bangtao seemed central but not chaotic like patong and close to a nice beach. still looking if anyone has any great suggestions, we are appreciative of any advice or suggestions :) thanks!

There are plenty available, my friend just rented an apartment behind twin palms for 6000 baht per month inc of electric. 200m from Surin beach.

His Thai Mrs was complaining about how expensive it is.
