Actually there was, untill they changed it to 30 days by air and 15 days at a land border. Currently there are no limits on the number of visa exempt entries.

I thought the limitation was only about the tourist-visa stays, not the visa-exempt stays. Thanks for the correction. But then, it's about the past, and no such restrictions exist any more.
