Teeth Whitening Treatment

With the upcoming return to Europe ahead I am planning to have some things done that most likely are cheaper here than 'back home'. Does anyone here have experience with this teeth whitening treatment, by laser or other technology/way, the price and can recommend me a clinic somewhere in Phuket, preferably in the area of Phuket Town?

All that is done is the removal of some tooth surface. They keep with the laser burning until youi teeth are white. I had it done as part of a big overhaul and could feel the change in the surface. NO GOOD

No good you say.

Thats the laser treatment, what about the 'home kits' , bleaching kind of treatments?

My dentist advertises Zoom whitening. I'm not sure but i think its with a laser and costs something like 7k-9k it delivers a good result. You can also buy kits from dentists which is cheaper and can whiten your teeth as much as you like. You just have to buy the extra bleach from them.

My dentist is called Dente Smile and its on Choafa West near the Wang Talang Jewelry place. I would recommend it.

I've had my teeth whitened in the US and here. Here I had it done at 32 Dental Clinic in Chalong. Across from Siam Commercial Bank and the police station. She's my normal dentist and does really good work. They do an impression of your teeth and make custom bleaching trays. Also give a rather long in office treatment with what I do believe is UV light and a stronger bleach. The only drawback is that when I drink coffee and red wine, it stains my teeth again.

I got laser whitening done at SeaSmile Dental Clinic on Patong beach. It turned out to be very good,i got very little sensitivity for the first few days. It cost me around 8000-9000 baht. From what i have heard, all kinds of whitening treatment whether laser or at home bleaching don't scrape out any of the tooth enamel. What they did is releasing oxygen which reacts with dark-staining molecules in the tooth. This reaction will change the physical property of those dark molecules and they become lighter in colour. My dentist said only the saliva coat of the tooth will be washed away during the whitening process and it takes a few days for our bodies to form it again, so in those days you are not allowed to take any dark colour food since it will easily stain your teeth.
