Whats Behind The Big Gates On Sukhumvit Soi 38?

Featured Replies

I cant take it any longer, I need to find out! As u enter soi 38 from BTS you walk past all the street food and then on the right hand side are those huge gates, big trees/bushes, another gate and they are never, ever opened!

I have been walking past these gates a lot of times now and all I can see is a big building and a man that is watering the plants - a lot.

Can someone please help me - whet behing the gates on no 2 sukhumvit soi 38?

Grammy Music have a place down there.

The next time you try to peek in my estate OP I'll send out my four Bangkaew's to say hello.

Mind yer own business! biggrin.gif

Just the home of a very rich Japanese man.

Notice the Japanese design of the home and the surrounds.

Can't tell if it is one home or small group of homes.

Something similar on Soi 18, this one has 4 homes on the property.

Great designs and really big bucks needed.

Since Don Muang was flooded it is where they have relocated the CIA rendition centre.....:whistling:

I lived over there while it was being built and poked around/asked around a bit. As mentioned, it's the residence of a wealthy guy. It's a massive structure with a couple of smaller structures on the grounds. I'd have guessed Korean, but Japanese doesn't surprise me.
