Need Cheap Rental Car For About 6 Months

Featured Replies

My wife's car is rather ill. Rather than upgrade right now, we prefer to sell it for cash, (the offer from the dealer is quite reasonable) - and then upgrade to a new car in about 6 months time.

That means she needs to rent a car for about 6 months. Does anyone know of a reasonably cheap automatic that can be rented? Make/model is not important and she is a very good driver - never killed anyone so far...

how much per month do you want to spend?

About 10,000 baht. That's the rate that I paid for a long-term car rental in Pattaya a year or 2 ago.

Has to be an automatic. My wife has a clean driving record for 8 years with an automatic and can just about drive a manual car, but it scares other drivers on the road.

Tried Nina's cars in Chalong? He has a big range but because its high season he might not be so flexible with the price...also there are some places which rent jeeps near by...but I dont think you would get even a saloona for 10k....12k maybe
