Birthday Party 7 Year Old Girl

Featured Replies

Hello people,

Does anyone have any ideas where to go to celebrate the birthday of an 7 year old thai girl? It would be nice if it was somewhere close to the old town in CM.

Any other ideas are welcome too. It is the first time i am in CM so a bit lost here.

Thanx al lot in advance a  parent.

Will it just be you and the kid or lots of kids?

New play area at Night Safari is good, Horizon is fun and I have heard that Kid-dee House is good.

"W by Wanlamun" has great pastries (French style). Perhaps go there for tea and pastries. They are on Chang Moi Rd. Soi 2. Phone: 053-232328.

We had six people at Salsa Kitchen (across from Shell on Huay Gaew Road) for my step son's 11th birthday and that worked out very well. Staff was very helpful and accommodating and they even served up a surprise cake that we had brought from outside. Food was excellent as well.

Are you looking just for a restaurant, or something to do?

Either way, the Night Safari is probably fun for kids. Not sure what movies are on currenlty, but going to Airport Plaza there are many food options (Swensen's ice cream is also pretty festive) and there's a good cinema. (Ok, I checked: Happy Feet 2 is on at Major Cineplex at Airport Plaza)

And there are a couple bowling alleys in Chiang Mai, but perhaps that's more suitable if there are a couple more kids to entertain.

Thinking back to when I was 7 yrs old, I would probably chosen the zoo and the insect museum! :D
