Christmas Shopping List - Last Bits.

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am struggling to get the last few bits on my shopping list for Christmas and I was wondering if you could help. I need the following things:

1. Fresh Rosemary

2. Lemons

3. Dry cider

4. Bucks Fizz

As I am new to Thailand, I don't know where to purchase these items or even if they sell them. I looked in Tesco yesterday and they don't even sell lemons. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Merry Christmas,

Bes.

I heard about the Villa on Sukhumvit. Any suggestions?

I'm fairly new myself.

If I were looking for expat type groceries, I'd go to Gourmet Market, Villa Market, Tops (the big ones) and Foodland- in that order.

They all have markets scattered around the center of Bangkok sized from small (and sparse selection) to big (and very well stocked).

TESCO and Big C are okay for local tastes and everyday foods, but pretty lacking in stuff from back home.

Good luck and Happy Holidays!

What about that big supermarket at the back of the food hall in Siam Paragon? Oe even the Central World Food Store?

Lemons from Foodland or Makro, dry cider from Friendship, Rosemary from Villa, Bucks Fizz, make your own.
