with regard to V8 juice as a substitute for tomato juice, don't ever mix with vodka like tomato juice...tastes horrible...

if you've got nice grapefruit juice (unsweetened, etc), that's the ticket thumbsup.gif also mixes well with other vodka cocktail ingredients...
