Someone once told me that Mae Jo Agricultural University has fish farms sponsored by Thai royalty, but I was never able to verify. Anybody know if this is true?

In Virginia USA, we enjoyed eating channel catfish and blue catfish - two varieties which are most common in the United States. These varieties are not native to Southeast Asia, but I am wondering if the Thai are possibly experimenting with these varieties.
