Totally agree with your comments regarding Milliband smokie, given his record as Foreign Secretary, ( Voting for an illegal war, complicit in the kidnapping of British citizens and rendering them for torture at the behest of the USA, and then lying about it). HD is right - there are fewer and fewer characters in football and Di Canio will add value in that respect.

Two immediate images come to mind - the theatrical antics of the referee when Di Canio pushed Paul Alcock. Di Canio was out of order but the ref when down like sack of sh!t. The other showed a unique aspect of his character when he stopped play by catching the ball when Everton goalkeeper Paul Gerrard was injured.

Give the guy a chance to see what he can do.
