Weather Forecast?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Does anybody know the weather forecast for Phuket on or around 10/12/05 to 17/12/05. I've searched a few sites but I can only find 5 day forecasts.

My G/f and I were planning a trip there, however with all the recent floods/bad weather ect.. We are wondering whether it's a good idea or not :o

Any help would be appreciated.

floods happen every year in Phuket. Tropics = rain (lots of).

I am told by the highest source, that Phuket will be sunny and flood free for those dates.

The Thai Meteorology Department website has heaps of useful information.

It is a good site, albeit a bit slow sometimes.

Thanks for that website, it was alot more useful than anything else I've found. Unfortunatly it predicts thunderstorms throughout December on and around the southwest coast :o

I might look at Koh Chang or somewhere like that but it doesn't look much better there either!

And I've been looking forward to flaking out on a beach for ages!! Gutted.

In my experience things have usually dried up enough by mid Dec to be pleasant for beaching it..

Feels like the rain this year has arrived late and seems to be staying a bit later.. Might be wrong as I havent been here as long as many others but It felt like Oct was dryer then normal and we still have a lot of rain now and its Dec already..
