Kawila Boxing Stadium

Featured Replies

Is kawila boxing stadium still open? I seem to remember a fire there. If it is open what are the best nights to go?

No it is not most people now fight at garlare in the night bazaar.

Very enjoyable cheap fun. No charge to get in. Beer for sale nearby. Have been a couple of times. Saw a black girl - Swiss I believe - TKO a Thai guy in the first round. He was out cold. I'd hate to mess with her!

the promoters of kawila are now in charge of kalare. It costs 400- 600 baht to get in. Not all the fights are amazing...but here and there you get some guys that are skilled. Much better than watching fights at loi kroh or thapae. Also if you want to see the international boxers, the majority of them fight there now.

400-600 to get in? I've been there 3 times now. Never been asked to pay 25 Satang. Attitude maybe?
