Hello i wonder if someone can help me?

I will be travelling to Thailand soon from London via Bahrain and would like to know if i purchase a bottle of Jägermeister in London will i encounter any problems en route to Thailand?

Also does anyone know if Jägermeister is available in Bahrain duty free or Bangkok?

Thanks very much

Heathrow will put it in a sealed bag for you.

You'll need to check with your transit airport whether they will allow sealed duty free bags from London to transit.

Are the savings that great that buying retail in the UK and putting it in checked baggage is impractical?

It's available in the Duty Free shop on departures at BKK (last Sunday), so may well be available in the arrivals duty free shop.

From memory it was 900 baht.

I love the stuff, and haven't been able to find litre bottles in the UK apart from airports.

so an extra 30cl and few pounds saving.

70cl bottle is 1,260 Baht in Foodland Pattaya.
