Hi, let's say I have to buy 50 eggs weekly.

Should I go Makro or a Thai market, which one, is there "standard prices" like 1 lemon 1 baht? Which one is cheaper and better?

Thanks :)

You will never, ever find lemons at 1,2,3 or 4 baht. Currently 19 baht at Tesco.

Lime prices do vary according to the season. Do not say same same, because the taste of lemons & limes is very different.

if its still an egg thread, i would choose Makro as they should be fresher and hopefully have been handled better.

How fresh do you want them.

Have seen the one with a fetus inside.

Probably the only dish I never tried.

I did once in the Philippines, but I was drunk and it was a bet, so don't really remember the taste and texture that well anymore.....

Talking about lemons... Aboute green small lemons (lime?), I used to pay 1baht per lime. I went tesco today, 3 bahts. I went a market in Samui, 4 baht. I will pass :(

FYI I went tesco, prices are between 100 and 125 thb for 30 pieces.

In a market 4 baht a piece. So I think better to go Tesco. I will try Makro soon, just for my information...
