world wide income taxation update
Actually, the politicians have seen the OECD agreement signed ion July 2023 and along with that article, a reporter mentioned worldwide income taxation and immediately the cash poor Thai politicians jumped at that possible source of taxe. IN some of the webinars on possible scenarios in taxation, some mention that this discussion is still ongoing as not everyone is on board with such taxation. Who know, the current government might not be around soon either, if they go down along with the other groups, then pretty soon there won't be any politicians left to nominate for anything. -

I agree with everything you have said - GenZ will go down as the most woke feminist and useless generation ever - and that other poster reflected their views on life a lot. It is one thing to protest against the war in Vietnam, but it all together another to protests in support of the murdering radical terrorists in Gaza. We might be the minority on this Forum, but on others and overall, we are the majority. -

This is a spectacularly ignorant man howling into the wind like a absolute fool. We are not responsible, I have not contributed to these problems, if they exist at all, and nothing that I do could possibly have an effect on some place as large as the earth or it's vast oceans. And since we have multiple alternative planets it doesn't matter if we foul Earth to the point of no return we can just shift to another planet. So stop picking on me and stop asking me to take responsibility, because I won't. Plastic is not harmful and I won't make any attempt to cut down on my use of it. Gas vehicles are not harmful and therefore I will make no attempt to drive one that consumes less gas, or to use a bicycle, or even a motorbike. I like gas guzzlers, and my luxuries and private jets, so again I ask leave me alone. Let me wallow in my own ignorance, please. -

I don't think it's possible as a bank needs the account holder's tax bracket. Withheld income tax of earned interest I think is just a flat percent regardless of tax bracket.- 1

Are You A Sexpat Or Do You Ride The Backwards Morality Train?
I lived from 1998-2018 in Thailand, and for probably the first 10 years I would say I was a sexpat. Certainly for the last 5 years of living there I didn't really bother with intimate relationships at all. This has carried on in the 6 years that I've now been back in the UK, I haven't even chatted anyone up!🙂 (60 in January, sex-drive almost totally diminished). -

I totally agree, but they only seem to think about tourist revenue in all of their 1/2 thought out plans. I wouldn’t send my worst enemy to Phuket, there is nothing Thai left to the place
