I need a hood for my new Mitsubichi Triton Megacab Plus (2-d). It should protect load or people on flatbed from rain and should be simple to take off if I need to take a high or large load. Something similar to Carryboy's Sportlid or Aeroklas tonneau cover. Unfortunatly Carryboy only produce sport lid for 4-doors vehicle. Any experience or other hints would be welcome!

Sorry for my (and Googles) bad english, yes I ment protection for the back space (flatbed?) on a pickup.

I think Sammitr has a shell/canopy for the Mitsu. As long as you don’t install the seal between the cab of the truck and the shell, they’re pretty easy to take on and off. On my ’68 Ford I used C-clamps to hold the shell on and could on or off it in minutes, but it took four guys to lift it,

I just find one more having the "sports lid" for Triton 2-door. It's called Superup, website:

Can you drive with this kind of lid in a raised position?

If not, then what do you do if you need to transport something that won't fit under the closed lid?

No, You cannot raise the roof higher than the drivers cabin. So thats a limitation, If you for example want to load a motorbike.

Sorry, but I don't understand your answer. Are you confirming that it is possible to drive with the lid in a raised position (like on the pic)? I am aware that the position shown is the maximum the id can be raised.

Thanks for your reply.

You can drive with the lid up (to carry and protect people on the bed from rain) but what I meant is that the hight inside then is maximized to app. 80 cm.
