a gold crown from the states

is gold looks like gold and contains mostly gold

what is up here

there is diff 'gold' content percentage

different tier pricing, at least least three

and the crowns are really made of porcelain not gold

they dont look like gold

and niether does the internal metalic part that is supose to contain gold

and all three look alike

should one even bother with 'gold' and just go with porcelain

advantages and disadvantages?

how can i understand this

sort it out

and make the best descions?

thanks

as far as i know there are 3 kinds of gold alloy used in crown , low quality, medium and high quality ( 80 % gold something). The more gold, the less corrosion of the crown. That means your crown will fit longer. They put porcelain on top of the gold to make it look natural. Not all Thais can afford high quality crown, thats why they have more options. I always go for the highest quality.
