February 6, 201214 yr There was i getting ready to watch the Chavs man yoo game when instead True put on "The Muppet Show " all be it featuring 24 muppet's. Players falling over for no reason, ref making wrong decisions, players making ghastly errors, fergie constantly complaining about the time........ Oh and then there was the football, probaly more entertaining watching The Muppets to be fair Footnote : i expect to see a lot more cultured game tonight
February 15, 201214 yr On a serious note, I just returned from a trip to Singapore this past weekend and what a joy it was to have decent punditry chaired by the excellent John Dikes over the extremely patchy Thai pundits who basically repeat the press and translate the comments off the online BBC Commentary verbatim.
February 15, 201214 yr My True is all English commentary here in Thailand,so not sure what you mean about the Thai pundits? and John Dikes who is he? Very satisfied True customer.

Absolutely, I think I am also right in saying that we get many matches that are not available in the UK. If someone could explain how I could get the box to record that would be a big plus. Also I find it very difficult to know when repeats are on. And is there a regular MOTD?
February 16, 201214 yr Also extremely satisfied customer, but looking forward to seeing the Irons back on my box in the very near future here on a sat night. Sent from Stoneyboy's iPad using ThaiVisa app

Same here - might be becasue we have the HD channels and he is just watching True Sports 1,2,3 etc which are all Thai - I normally watch True Sports HD channels which has English pre/post match English panel and some good daily premier league news and football today show.

February 16, 201214 yr Look up "pundits" in a dictionary. The fools they have giving Pre-Match, HT and FT analysis. In Singapore they had Strach and some scouser and they nearly come to blows...

A recent survey revealed that the most popular phrase used in the world, during 2011 was"Steve Jobs". I could have sworn it would have been "in terms of" and, in terms of using the phrase in terms of,John Dikes is streets ahead of anyone else.
