I have not been able to find anywhere here that sells Bundy rum

Not even the duty free shops at Phuket and Bangkok airports

The Bundaberg OP is the one i like

Has anyone seen it for sale here

Out of interest the normal Bundy is available at Tachilek just over the border in Mynamar. I bit far for you I know but it maybe useful for other Aussies living in the north. Oh and not expensive,$15.20 Au or 490 Bt. for a 70CL. Bottle

Siem Reap, Cambodia - ess than $12 a bottle. I think you can probably get it at the border points as well.

(Maybe not much use if you are in Phuket).

Instead of drinking that rot-gut, you should try Mount Gay. Available at most duty-free stores.

Actually think most of the Thai rums are pretty good rot gut...

....talking of rot gut...for any expat South Africans....saw Thai equivalent of Cane Spirit in Tesco the other day! Ah... cane and orange..guaranteed 'ed ache and bad breath.....

I thought Steve from the Aussi Bar was bring it in. Maybe he stopped. Worth checking next time you are over in Bangla.

Some of us do not visit Bangla, last time for us new years eve 2 years ago

We went for the fireworks

The best local rum I've had is Tanduay from the Philippines. Makes Mekhong and Sang Som look bad.

Blend 285 is better than Sangsom, it actually tastes like dark rum

A visit to Bangla to check if he has it is better than leaving the country to get your tipple.

What is mount gay sounds like the name of a wine

or an activity or theme room at nana plaza

Never seen OP for sale here in Thailand, I think the alc % is too high in regards to customs limits, I love the stuff and am heading home tomorrow and will be bringing a few litres back.

I have purchased normal bundy at the BBQ store (aussie barbeque galore BBQ's) here in Pattaya, they also have a shop front in Phuket so maybe go ask there.

Off topic i know, but the Aussie BBQs they sell here are all made in China

at about 4 times the price they cost in Australia, why don't import

direct from China, and no they do not sell bundy

Well they seem to be a branch of Barbeques Galore in Australia whom also import their BBQ's from China. My Beefmaster is almost double the Aussie price (comparing websites) so not sure how you figure 4 times the price.

If you can do it cheaper why don't you bring them in from China, I looked into buying a BBQ from OZ and importing it myself, worked out about $20.00 cheaper than buying here but involved a lot more headache.

As for the Bundy, Pattaya branch certainly did sell it last time I was in there but I guess is now a mute point considering my local mom and pop joint stocks it.

Most BBQ sold in Australia are made in China or another Asian country

Genuine Weber's are sold in Australia made in USA but similar BBQs

at a lot cheaper price are made in China

The average Aussie BBQ sold here is Made in China, not Australia

1720b is reasonable for a bottle considering the price of an air flight to Perth to buy it duty free.

Decent price at the duty free though, online it's $37.00 for a 1.125 bottle of OP, why does Perth have 1lt bottles ?http://www.firstdutyfree.com.au/category/liquor/rum/11239-bundaberg-o-p--rum-1125ml

that's the only size they sell in the DF but you do not see them here

Trying not to confuse the issue
