Recommended Itinery / Beachs For Koh Phangan Boat Trip

Featured Replies

I hope you can help, we are hiring a boat to circumnavigate Koh Phangan on Monday & would love to get Thai Visa members recommendations of good beaches / bars / restaurants to stop at.

Thank you for your help.

start on the west side, moving north stop at koh ma for snorkeling then hop back on the boat and grab the cameras for some good sightseeing headed east then turn south and stop at anantara for a late lunch, keep heading south and looking for some nooks for more swimming, stop in at haad rin beach for a drink just to say you've been there and then come back to samui with the sunset.

that's a full day tour of koh pan yang. lol i love saying pan yang. i think i'm going to name my next baby pan yang.

Sadly, the East side of the island is now mostly exposed to Eastward monsoon winds (actually now from SE) so many nice bays, like Haad Yao East, Haad Sadet, are exposed to the waves and not so much suitable. But Bottle beach and Tong Nai Pan, Chaloklum, Mae Haad are beautiful and easily reachable by boat in this season

Good beaches - Joe's itinery is a good one as well - but I would not have chosen the anantara - I would eat seafood on Bottle Beach. Both replies are good ones though
