February 20, 201214 yr I myself have never had to provide a police clearance these past 10 years. But a friend of mine who is a US citizen was told he need a police clearance FROM THE US GOV.

February 25, 201214 yr Best to gain clarification from a local Thai lawyer. My experience has been to always consult a local lawyer and for a fair fee have things done properly.
