In Patong there is a well known guy called Lama and is probably the best on the island. He's a natural artist and everything is free hand. He's got a spotlessly clean shop and his prices are superb for the quality of work. phukettattoolama.com

Alternatively and also brilliant, an artist by the name of Lek who owns Indian tattoo. Also a natural artist doing free hand work, black and shading his speciality but his colours are dam_n fine too. indianbodyart.com
