Keerapat International School?

Featured Replies

Is anyone familiar with Keerapat International School? I am considering accepting a job there, but this will be new for me as I have never been to Thailand before. They are offering about 70,000 a month, which seems somewhere in the middle for International school pay in Bangkok. Any tips or advice would be helpful. Thanks!

I know a few teachers working at Keerapat. Good friends of mine.

Are they offering you accommodation and flights?

For your info, with a salary of 70k/month, they should be witholding 7083 baht/month for taxes and and what ever monthly contribution you have to make to their insurance plan. The government plan is 750/month. So you would be closer to 60k/month for actual living expenses but should be more than enough.

No, they will not pay for accommodation. They will pay for the initial flight to Bangkok.

Not a bad deal. At least flights are covered.

70,000 minus the tax should be a decent salary for living in Bangkok. Not the best for an international school, but definitely not the worst.

Hi IrishTexasAggie again,

Just wondering which post they offered you. As far as I know there are different pay structures for different posts.

I might be able to give you more info. about the position...

Regards
