Thanks Daffy- I went looking for this in the Google Play Store, and didn't find it. Searched google, and it seems that this is an iPhone app- links to the iTunes App Store. Is there an Android version that I'm not finding?

I'm already using an Android app called "Traffic Monitor" that was recommended in another thread quite some time ago, that seems to do all of the same- monitor cell and wifi traffic usage, as well as drilling down which apps are using the bandwidth. The interface is kinda clunky and ugly, so I had high hopes for your recommendation, but alas, it wasn't meant to be. Despite being ugly, Traffic Monitor works well enough, so I'll live with it.

Rgds,

Bino

Sorry for the miscommunication. Yeah, I like pretty and well executed apps. It's why I have an iPhone.

Bino, I have a friend who is also in your situation. I don't think you'll lose the speed as long as you keep paying.

That's what I figure too. I'll cross the bridge of migrating my phone number when or if the trial period mentioned by lomatopo above comes to an end. When you apply TIT factor, I figure that I've got at least a couple of years!

Can I transfer my number from AIS to True for use on prepay? I think that is my best option until I have an idea of what my data usage will be. I did the AT&T data estimator and I think I'll be around 1.5GB.

Yes, you can port your number from One-2-Call to TrueMove H Prepay. Only about 75% of the ports go through here, mainly owing to account issues or mismatches on account credentials, so you may want to update any registration credentials with One-2-Call sooner rather than later. You will lose any balance, have to pay a 99 baht service charge, and have to buy a new TrueMove H Prepay SIM, like the Smartphone SIM at 99 baht.

I wouldn't sweat the data threshold so much? But it may be a good idea to begin tracking your data usage with one of the many tools available, if your system doesn't already have that capability. You can always move up or down.

is porting still available, I ask at a True shop here in Pattaya yesterday and said cannot transfer my number from 1-2 call, maybe the guy did not understand or does not know and easier to say no instead of not sure?

Maybe just show them the TrueMove H MNP web-pages?

MNP is government/agency mandated so not an option. You just have to make sure your account with One-2-Call is in good standing, and that you've had it for more than 90 days, and that your current identification credentials match those on record with One-2-Call.
