I am trying to set up camfrog on a new laptop but the program doesnt seem to recognise the webcam. I tried it with Skype and the video works fine. I also installed camfrog on my machine and it works fine also. The laptop is a brand new acer aspire netbook. Any info much appreciated. Cheers.

It might not be your computer. I have used camfrog for years but in the past 2 months camfrog Thailand has not worked well at all. Just tried it again yesterday after giving up the past month and same crap. It wont recognize my video and says check your firewall etc. I'm on a new macbook so it's camfrog NOT your puter

Cheers for that, facebook video chat worked fine this morning but camfrog won't. It seems weird that when I installed the same version of camfrog on my laptop it works fine. Oh well, it was worth a try anyway. Cheers again.

Camfrog also has other processes working behind the scene. One of my friends is a software developer who works in Austrilia and he's used camfrog before and noticed some things that most users are not aware.

He said, that when you install came frog it inserts a Malware script in the background, that sends back information to the developers website of the places you go to, whom you chat with and other information. He said, your Anti-malware programs on your computer might have a conflict with Camfrog.

That sounds pretty dodgy, cheers. Have recommended they use FB chat or Skype, camfrog is history. Thanks again.
