Suzuki Minivans -- Cost In Thailand?

Featured Replies

Does anyone know how much a new Suzuki Minivan costs in Thailand? I like the Suzuki Carry, but the legroom in too limited. The van look like the seat is adjustable, and for what I want, it's just the right size.

Last time I looked they were about 750,000 maybe less for manual.

Dang! I though those little things might cost 500K. Might as well buy a extended cab truck for that price.

op. he is talking about the APV which is a people carrier .

if you want the Suzuki mini van type vehicle then maybe look at DFM.

An old Carry minivan has less legroom than the later pickup.

Yes. I thought the same I have the pickup and thought I would buy an APV to serve as a van/people carrier but the pickup has all the major bits and costs half the price. I could not figure out what the extra 300,000 is for except a few bits of extra sheet metal, a few seats and maybe electric windows. Maybe it is a tax thing?

The legroom is OK. I will admit to trying to adjust the seat the first time I tried to drive it but having accepted it one gets used to it now I can drive to Phuket no problem and don't even notice. The driving position is more upright than a car maybe that is the reason. Unless you are really tall say 6ft plus I would sit in the Carry again.

The APV is soon to be replaced......... also will wear the Chevrolet grill and badge [some Countries anytime now understand in Thailand 2013] ++ understand both will under cut the same sized Toyota Avanza in price

Myself not 100% sure if this is not a new model ? but told it is the APV replacement

I think Ertiga 1.4l is aimed squarely at Avanza. While APV is a different beast. Avanza is a smaller version of Innova which replaced Kijang as the defacto national car of Indonesia. I believe in the beginning it was called Kijang Innova.

APV is still offered alongside Ertiga in Indonesia the home of both so while there maybe a revised APV in the works I do not believe it is Ertiga. Who sells Ertiga here is a marketing decision. But it will probably still be manufactured by Suzuki. Where ?
