Hi,

I am thinking to buy a ~10 year old Benz Vito. Has anyone got any experience with Vitos in Thailand? How is the reliability? I am located at Sri racha.. Is there any competent garage around Chonburi area?

Thanks...

I had a new one a van in UK I really liked it, it was serviced regulary and was three years old when I sold it, can't really comment on one in Thailand, personally I would stay clear unless it was new.

I have heard of much disapointment of older models but seems most (all) of vito's have problems, although I never did.

I haven't read one good report, from what I remember, the faults are injector damage, solenoids, battery, brake wear problems, tire wear, finding a decent Mercedes service centre, and expensive.

Up to you.rolleyes.gif

Thank you Kwasaki. Yeah, I read some UK feedback, some good and some bad.. So thinking how they fair here. The new ones from china seems to be worse..

Another choice will be a VW T4 but it is much longer. The short body types are hard to find...
