Htc Speedway Ecu

Featured Replies

Was in Hi Tec yesterday upgrading my fogs to xenon and was offered a go of the HTC Speedway ECU box 9,000 baht. Took an hour to fit so extra half hour wait and if I didn't like it or see a change I could remove it.

Nothing on google so I gave it a go as they said it takes seconds to remove for a service.

Takes seconds to remove and if you don't reattach the adapter the car is immobilized.

Noticed much more power between 2,000 and 3,000 rpm, quicker acceleration to 100kph, no check engine light even when booting it. The MU7 is a heavy old bus with 20in rims but getting going is noticeably quicker and the first 2-3 seconds of acceleration (overtaking) is much more responsive.

Has anyone heard of this particular brand?

To my unprofessonal ears, it sounds good! No 'black smoke' at all?

Does anyone know how this compares to the RaceChip?

BTW, did your MU-7 come with an owners manual in English?

.....very good my dear Watson! wai.gif

BTW, would you explain the purpose of locating the 'connector/attachment' in your glovebox, are you saying by 'disconnecting it', it can double as an anti-theft deterrent??
