No, I just know enough Thais of the class that actually hold the power here and know their attitudes about alcohol abuse. I'm not talking about attitudes among poor men, where I'm perfectly aware alcoholism rates are as high as in the UK, Germany, Ireland, Australia etc.

But among the female poor, you will also get kudos for not being an abusive drinker, and that's not from any Facebook feedback either 8-)

No-one seemed to have any official information. I was also told that unless you received a letter to tell you that the ban was in place then it didnt apply to you.
