I've been looking for it but still cannot find it online on the TAT sites. In a local publication I did find the following. I'm not guaranteeing that it's complete, or accurate. also, it doesn't include times and sometimes not even locations.

You could wear goggles. I don't though, they make me look less handsome.

So just a little situational awareness and closing your eyes at the right times. wink.png

Thanks Winnie i wear specs so always have my eye protection.wink.png

Ice water is a bit of a shock when you're hit with it while still completely dry.. But then without ice water there's not much point in splashing someone who's already completely soaked; you really don't feel anything then.

BTW I sometimes bring a bucket of *warm* water. Then people think they're going to get a cup of icy cold water on them but then it turns out to be lovely and warm. It's the surprise that counts. ;)

Here's a schedule from last year showing the hours of the various events. This could supplement the schedule WTK posted.

I expect the times should be similar to last year.

As I remember the Thai Songkran Schedule . . .

Leave for country side 1 day 2 day 3 day early depending if you have car, motorbike, or take bus back home and could get ticket

4 days eat, drink, party, and play too much forgetting everything

1 or 2 days after to recover and sober up

1 or 2 or 3 days return back to work depending of if they have a car, motorbike, or take the bus and remembered to get a return ticket.

by the 21st, give or take a few days, things start to get back in order, except those who go to Pattaya or Phuket and for some strange reason celebrate it a week later?

yep that's it !

Sorry bout that. When all else fails, read the directions in the help menu.

It should work this time.

Thanks. I also found a list on CityNow but without times. Just wrote a letter to the editor of City Life...for what good that will do. The city is trying to promote and alcohol limited, toned down Songkran festival, but they don't promote events that are happening throughout the cite and province. So what are they going to get - a bunch of drunk farangs tossing water from the time they get up until they fall back into the drunken stupor. Heck, they were already at it on Loi Kroh and Thapae last night and it's not even Songkran! Might help to have the city and TAT publish, and seriously promote some other options!

Maybe I expect too much -- after all, TIT.
