For Everyone Who Thinks To Buy Toyota, Because Easy For Parts

Featured Replies

Just for information: Doesn't make sense to buy Toyota.

Looking to buy a taillight for a 06 Vios. Nowhere available in Pattaya, have to order from Bangkok.

Have a 08 Vios with a oxigen sensor peoblem, stay now in Toyota Dealership in Pattaya, since 10 days. According to the Serice manager: NO PARTS AVAILABLE, not even in Bangkok. I mean we talking here about Toyota Vios, not some exotic import car!

Perhaps the parts are all now floating out at sea eh. biggrin.png

Could/would they do that? I imagine that there would be no attached warrant to a second hand part (honda gives 6 months on the parts they fit, I imagine its the same for toyota). I want to do that for my airbag sensor, as the new unit from honda is 17K baht.

If they won't you would be able to find someone who could :) No there wouldn't be any warranty but if your bothered about not having the sensor or the OP being without a car, now up to 10 days it would be a temporary solution until the new one arrived, it's just another way out with a car problem. :)

I won't even bother with 6 months waranty! Get a used one.

It's just an O2 sensor. There are no moving parts and it won't break.

They fail however when getting wet so with recent floods may be harder to get a hold of a working one.

Let's not bash Toyotas by the way, I would think other domestic manufacturers are in a same boat.
