Have a look at Michelin Latitude Cross, you can get the recommended retail price by calling the Michelin Hotline available on their website. These are very good in the wet and you get the 6 year warranty.

Each manufacturer wil recommend what he fit on the car as origional equipment. I have had Bridgestone Duelers on my old Toyota Sportsrider and they were also standard equipment on my 3.2 Pajero GT but believe me they had nowhere the grip of these Michelin Latitude Cross which for 265/65R/17 have a recommended retail price of 7,690 baht. Another thing to look at is the Speed Rating which for the Bridgestone is 180kl/hr and the Michelin is 210kl/hr, It's good to have a bit extra up your sleeve even though you don't use it to often. My Pajero will do better than 180 so i want the Tyres to match at least what the car is capable of. Tyres are one of the most important things on your car especially in Thailand with the very slippery roads as soon as you get a bit of H2O on the road so don't skimp on what you buy, a few extra baht may save your life.

The tyre's Toyota recomend for the Sportivo are P265/60RS18 109V they just by the way have a 149mph/240kmph rating. A trite better than the one's you recommend. As you say it's good to have a bit extra up your sleeve.
