The view from "my" house in Nakhon Nowhere.

One object that I like, one that I respect and one that I hate it's guts.

You got it.

That's how far it is from my ear, strategically positioned to send 80% of it's blast to me.

The papaya plant that's on the noise's way does not absorb much of it.

Now, the broadcast are 6am - 8:20am. What a torture.

It's Christmas.

Maybe Santa will bring you a pair of wire cutters

Just get some to stick some rags in it or get them to turn it around If you ask the right person nicely I am sure they could arange something.

Yes...the thing is that the folks living in the house permanently, sleep on the other side of it since it was built - before the loudspeakers. They are also awake by the "news" time anyway.

It's only me, an occassional visitor, who is bothered. "Our" room is reserved, locked and only for us when we come. It's was meant to be in a "special" position. Indeed, now it is, it absorbs 80% of the sound allocated to the whole neighbourhood.

You will find that most Thais despise the stupid loudspeakers anyway, but are too afraid to do anyything about them. they are a result of the 'communist' insurgencies many years ago. So will be hard to get rid of. get a gun and shoot the f%$#@er !! lol
