Don't worry, be happy. Fine paid, keep the receipt and that's it. Owning a vehicle does not implicate mandatory driving licensing; see all those commercial courier companies. In the past, yes, when you bought a car you were also automatically supplied with a lifelong driving license; some non-receiped outlays secured that document. Back in the day you would see much more often cars with red (temporary) car plates smashed up a pole, tree or anything else by - most likely - one of those lucky recipients of a gifted driving license 😉 -

What's your 9 flavors in Thailand?
I can see that you quoted a totally unrelated post to someone else. Your view appears totally subjective. Perfect location for a nice breeze? How do you feel that "nice breeze" in an air conditioned room without a balcony? I remember enjoying the breakfast at Centrepoint Silom. I don't get that excited in that I feel the need to rate them against others. I haven't seen anything from your pics posted that looks outstanding. Sometime I would pop over to the Verandah at the Mandarin Oriental for the riverside dining experience. Does it have a better breakfast than Chatrium or the Queens Park Marriott? I'm not sure anyone chooses the accommodation for the breakfast, but I haven't been disappointed with any of my choices. I only gave my reasons for rejecting the Chatrium, together with my reasons for choosing Centrepoint Silom. I try to refrain from using hyperbole.
