Bars Showing Manchester Derby

Featured Replies

Given the following of United and Citeh in this country, 'discretion' appears to be being applied for this fixture : 2am kick off on Tuesday morning.

At least 2 bars in Rawai are saying they'll stay open:

1) Nuan's / Old Tree bar, on the main road

2) Yanui Sports Bar, on the short-cut road towards Yanui Beach.

Any others?

Going to be an awsome match

Especially as tomorrow is a holiday!

Can I ask why it is called a "derby"? I always associate that with horse racing.

Never really bothered about the term myself, until you've just raised it.

Looks to be shrouded in Olde English mystery from the link below. But, yes, there do seem strong connections to The Derby horse race.
