Huge crowd piles pressure on Dutch government to seek an end to Israel's campaign in Gaza
The protests in Holland are not as Israel claims - anti semetic, arising from and encouraged by the Muslim community of that country. The people of Holland, in much the same way as those of the other countries who are now demonstrating against Israel's actions, actually supported Israel when this conflict began. The people of most of the world's countries were horrified by Hamas's attack on 7 October. However, I don't think any of those who supported Israel expected their response would be to indiscriminately kill over 50,000 people - that vast majority of whom had nothing to do with the Hamas's attack. They did not expect Israel to use starvation as a weapon, they did not expect Israel to bomb hospitals, stop medical supplies, turn off water and electricity. The protests were those of a population who could not believe that their government was not speaking out strongly against Israel's methods. Their exaspiration is mirrored around the world and it has taken this action to produce the response of several nations to condemn and sanction Israel for their actions - finally! To those who support Israel's actions, I would ask you to consider this: If you lived in an apartment block and one apartment was occupied by a criminal who had brutally murdered several people of a different religion. Would your police force be justified in bombing the entire apartment block and killing/maiming all of those who live in it? Alternatively, would they be justified in stopping all occupants from leaving the building, shopping for food, attending hospital for vital treatment and operations, turning off the electric and cutting the water supply? That is exactly what Israel is doing and the world's population have had enough of it. Well done to the Dutch for calling Israel out on this. -

Report Thailand to Require Medical Certificates for Cannabis Use Within 40 Days
There are no "Drug addicts" as a result of the changes in the law. Cannabis Law Reform was a humanitarian gesture resulting in thousands of decent people being released from prison which has to be a good thing....Isn't it? If you don't like it you can always try North Korea.
