anyone recommend an up market eyewear shop? , something with modern quality gear , tired of using the likes of the seven eleven type chain stores that sell cheap nasty stuff ... dont want to name them but they are all over thailand ....

Wow you did not say upmarket frames and lenses for reading glasses now did you!! just read the op and it says, eye wear shop, it does not say sunglasses and it does not say reading glasses, go back and read your op then send me another post with your apology!!! oh my very loud annoying bike rider loving friend!!!!

Ah maybe eye wear actually means frames and lenses for reading glasses or just reading glasses, bloody hell how silly am I!!

sorry when i posted i should have allowed for people with disabilities ...so here i will make it easy

1/ i want glasses for my eyes ( both of them)

2/ i want them for reading , not driving , cooking or gardening or eating etc etc just reading

3/ i dont want sun glasses , the type you wear in the sun , they have dark tinted lenses and i wont use them for reading

4/ i want to find a shop that just sells glasses that falls into the category of item 1 and 2 ( not 3)

5/ i want to find a shop that has staff that are awake , not putting on makeup , eating , doing personal grooming or texting and who have some qualifications in the optometry field , the staff also need to have said stock of items mentioned in 1 and 2 ( not 3)

6/the last very important item is i want quality eye wear that falls into the category of item 1 and 2 ( not3) by quality i mean not the type of frames priced at 5000 baht but have a real worth of 5 baht , i want a shop that sells something made from quality materials and have a stock of original styles ,,,,

i hope you accept my apology and i deeply regret excluding you in my original post

You do make me laugh just except you did not post your question correctly, if you had posted your question correctly you would have made it clear you were looking for a specific type of glasses(in your case reading glasses etc, your post only made it clear you were looking for quality eye wear!! quality eye wear can fall in to many categories one of these being sun glasses!!!

Go back and read your op then take a look at the reply you have just posted, you will see just how ridiculous you are being!!
