Can Anyone Confirm Holidays For June 4Th 2012?

Just wondered as I have heard contrasting answers will June 4th be a national Holiday?

I am currently working for school however as always, they have this 'tell you at the last minute' policy so just wondered if anyone can confirm whether schools will be or should be out for 4th June?

June 4th is a holiday in Thailand. Schools will be closed.

Definitely a holiday as it is one of the most important Buddhist days.
