i have a rental property i own freehold , currently returns 1mill plus a year in rent ..how can i tap into the equity of the house ? can i mortgage it or get a line of credit ?

And one assumes you dont own the land and even possibly the house....so a Thai bank is not going to give you a mortage or loan based on collateral you dont own are they ?....As a farang in Thailand you have two chances of getting a mortage in your own name...No chance and FA chance. I best you will get is co-signing on a mortage for a Thai national.
