May 16, 201213 yr Does anyone know why Mazda has not released its SkyActiv technology in Thailand? I don't understand why they wouldn't want to address the comments about their cars being 'thirsty' when they actually have the technology to fix this, and are already implementing this outside of Thailand already. Is this something planned for the near future?
May 29, 201213 yr Good question for Mazda marketing department. Considering the delay in releasing the new Mazda 3 into Thailand compared to other markets it is not surprising. Maybe cost or tax have something to do with it. My wife has the old model 1.6L Mazda 3. Fuel economy around town is 9 - 10 km/L. This car is OK but heavy for its size and low geared with a 4speed auto. I wonder if the new model is any better.
