Hadn't picked up a rod for around 10 years until I bought one for the boy yesterday.

Anybody ever fished in the old tin mines/lagoons? We are going to start here, particularly as there are a few just a couple mins away.

If anybody has, is there any kind of method that works well? ie. bottom, top, bait etc.

Looking forward to getting into it again then perhaps a bit of sea fishing...

I wouldn't eat anything you catch from an old tin mine. Teaming with Mercury which will never leave your body.
