kevjohn
Its like sweet music to me.... Same for me Married 12.5 years and could not be happier. Wake up every morning and greeted with a smile...yes, a Thai smile Fantastic. What kind of Thai smile. There are so many. I particularly like the one that says you are a stupid buffalo and I hate you smile. Yes...I like that "stupid buffalo and I hate you smile" too. It makes me realise how lucky I am. BigJohnnyBKK
I'm very happy since I was able to persuade the mother of my children to peaceably decamp to greener pastures. All my current Thai "ladies" are truly lovely, when they start to go off, they're out! But most of the credit for my happiness is due to my two super-duper lovely angelic perfect babies, peals of joyous laughter out of all of us throughout the day. The only black lining in the silver cloud is financial, but that's a relatively minor detail in the big picture.

smokie36
my Thai lady is not lovely therefore my question for the resident experts "could the reason be that the lady i married 33 years ago is not Thai?" favourable answers only please! I was just about to say the same lol. The answer is simple. Most ladies are lovely! No need for a topic title change though!

smokie36
I suspect many of the guys who think all Thai women are bad came to Thailand because their mate down the pub told them that Thai women are all perfect. Their mate probably told them that Thai women all look like dolls, enjoy doing household chores and live to serve their husband (like a slave treats their master) regardless of how ugly, smelly, fat, drunken and socially inept he may be. These guys are obviously in for a shock when they find out that Thai women are actually all unique human beings with independent thoughts (and desires) and, of course, imperfections. Also, it doesn't help that the guy's mate from the pub told him that, to find a Thai wife / girlfriend, he just needs to go to a strip club in Phuket and buy the one with the best body. Correct brit....and we are all individuals too. Ahh....the truth comes out on TV at last....
geriatrickid
My dog licks me every morning, love it. I get the added pleasure of the occassional gas. BTW, I keep thinking about a story I read in here a few days ago about the gentleman's wife staying by the side of their beloved dog as it died. Any man that can have the chance to be with a woman as compassionate and loving as that is one of the luckiest guys in the world. Everytime I get angry at my broomstick rider, I look at the way the dogs are cared for (and the mother too) and I remember that some things are more important in life than a bit of overspending or the "annoying" generosity with those in need. Besides, this is the only person since my mum that has been able to buy me underwear that I like (or fit into).

Popular Post canuckamuck
I hate to bust your bubbles, but many of my friends have confirmed that I married the finest lady in Thailand. She is adored by my friends and relatives on 3 continents. 7 years ago when we tied the knot I had no idea what great fortune was befalling me that day. We share the same vision and work together like cheese and crackers. I still feel compelled to profess my love to her each day, which is usually countered by a "you should", or a "I love me too". But I get her back in a similar way just as often. We are currently raising 4 kids that needed parents, and she is always helping others in need too. They broke the mold on this one.

Popular Post scotsman
Coming up to 14 years married to my best friend and it only feels like yesterday we have so much fun together, I am very lucky to have a person with the same crazy sense of humor I do. The years we have spent together has changed us both into one person we just know what the other is thinking. Its a bond that will last for all our lives and the most important things I can put my finger on that makes it so is Trust & communication. I am happy that so many of us out there have the same relationships its a lot of hard work but worth it. Regards Scotsman

Popular Post theblether
You guys are so soppy! Hehe! I As you are someone who has modeled latex and worn it many times before in the past I think you should stop wasting time here and concentrate on the other thread (Lady Gaga Disses Thailand; Thailand Disses Back).... Weren't you supposed to be locating some photos ???.... Perhaps you should combine threads and place the cat amongst all these satisfied pidgins !!! I already saw that thread and those that asked got to see. I highly doubt I want to put such pictures so publicly on a forum. Oh bummer for missing out - but also lucky, I’m not sure my state of soppy bliss could handle such fantasy and disruption… Back on Topic... Lots of positive stories on here +1 to all. First of all, I can confirm that Phuturatica did send photos to those that asked, Secondly, there is no way!!......I'm sharing them, their mine and I'm keeping them Thirdly, a recent thread ( poll ) result showed that over 2/3rds of TV members that voted were in very solid long term relationships Fourthly, there are times when my lady drives me up the wall !!! then she cracks that stunning smile and surrounds me with the sound of laughter, pins me down with a look from her beautiful eyes, and ties me up with her gentle femininity. Then I'm beat.........and so happy .

Popular Post David48
Since we have agreed, for the life of this post we can share our thoughts and feelings ... I say to my GF, that I have waited my lifetime to meet her. If an artist could read my mind and sketch the girl of my dreams ... that portrait would be of her. Lastly, I consider myself a lucky man to have met her ... OH ... BTW ... this is us ... Want to meet her or know more about Fish Farms

Popular Post Boo
A couple of off topic posts removed, for once a positive thread, lets keep it that way. many of us have successful relationships with our thai partners, although mine isn't a woman 11years, 9 married, one child just turned 5, we have the same goals & the same dreams & he is the hardest working man I know, in terms of his work life & in caring for his son. When I see friends husband drinking their money away down the pub several nights a week or spending most of their weekend free time playing footie or hanging out with their mates minus the family, it makes be appreciate how much the Mr enjoys being home with his family. Whenever I ask him if he wants to go spend time with a friends he say "for what, everything I want is here". Ok that also includes his guitars & computer but me & the boy are at the top of that list
Popular Post David48
You guys are still being soppy then eh? So macho. You see phuturatica ... some of us actually are romantics , but some much written here are dick flops (whip them out boys and see who is the biggest/longest) we actually appreciate the opportunity to pay credit to those who have made our lives a dream ... and sometimes a nightmare ... but always interesting!
