How Much $, Flying From Samui To Changmai?

Featured Replies

Question: how much does it cost to fly one way from Samui to Changmai? there's no info on the Thai Air website. If you are reading this from an internet cafe on Samui, which alot of you are... and it also doubles as a travel agency, which alot of them do... could you please ask and let me know... I'll be flying sometime around January 20 something. thanx in advance..

Thai air does not fly from Samui. Only Bangkok Air and they have no direct flights from Samui to CM. Only Samui-BKK then BKK-CM. Check out the Bangkok air website, you get a better deal online than you do from an agent.

You could fly to Bangkok with Bangkok air then to Chiang Mai with Air Asia, I believe Bangkok air is about 3000bht one way Samui/Bangkok used to have first and last flight of day about 2000bht, check web site, www.bangkokair.com. then on to Air Asia could get this segment for around 1000bht if you book far enough in advance probably too close now. Bangkok air about 1700bht, if you use Air asia allow at least three hours connection time, they have a poor reputation for time keeping amongst other things, (but OK once you get on the plane). If you are tight for time probably better off with Nok air, which you should check anyway if Air Asia want big money for the Chiang Mai segment. www.nokair.com (not sure about the .com)

You could even look at Samui /Kl with Bangkok air and then KL/ Chiang Mai with Air Asia, stranger things have happenned.!
