In particulay not starting with Van Persie. The keague is won bar the math and there was no need to rest anyone. Just can't fathom his thinking. Was he hoping for a late wildcard back into the CL? I think it was their strongest side available and it shows just how poor they are without RVP on form (and a ref not able to give them a dodgy decision) . I haven't got any stats on hand but it seems that this year they have won more 1-0 games than normal and usually down to RVP scoring a decider. A scheme to relocate away supporters from their current location has also been shelved, following a trial when Aston Villa played at Old Trafford last season. Despite being the largest Premier League ground, Old Trafford has often been lambasted for having a poor atmosphere and the recent complaints came from fans in the more vocal Stretford End. Sparkles Posted April 9, 2013 Share Posted April 9, 2013 Deserved win to City and once again what is SAF thinking expecting Giggs to play 90 minutes in midfield, and this is not in hindsight.Giggs should be used in big games to shore things up in the last 20 m or against lesser lights. Once again, and have said it many times, EVRA as a defender is totally,inept when it counts, out of position time and time again.The brilliant Aguero goal he should have been tracking back defending but was a mile away from the action.poor performance from United and how they have so many points up their sleeve is beyond me. Rooney and VP totally off the boil and I'm not convinced the title is done and dusted.Throw in the total lack of goals this season from Young ,Nani ,Cleverley and Valencia and it makes you wonder. We are 12 points ahead of you and SAF only made a small miscalculation last year so you could make the League interesting and competitive. i.e. League not won until the last day.( by goal difference only) I think and that after spending a LOT of money.
