Have Gained A Lot Weight Over The Last Few Years... Now Need A Check Up

Featured Replies

What should I check for?

Blood Pressure

Cholesterol Levels

Diabeties (1+2)?

? I am in my twenties and definitely fat. :(

I think all these could be good to check. If your only in your twenties and fat, then its not a big problem here as the ladies don't care as long as your wallet is fat too.

But for your self image i would try to loose some weight. Best thing is a combination of training and diet. But this will take time, don't expect all that you gained in years to be gone in 2 months.

Why would you check for type 1 diabetes? Thats something your generally born with and/or shows signs very early in life. Unless you are morbidly obese and there is some danger to yourself for exercising thats gonna be the best start instead of a doctors visit. Especially in your 20s your BP and cholesterol levels wouldn't be something I would generally be worried about.

I was 21 and 320lbs and did the same crap with my doctor asked him if it was all ok, said ya of coarse it is your 21 go on a diet, join the gym and stop being fat. He was a blunt one...
